Guatemala City, June 13 (RHC)-- In Guatemala, as confirmed coronavirus cases top 8,500 and over 300 people have died, medical staff warn hospitals are on the brink of collapse.  This comes as morgues are also reportedly overflowing.

Marco Antonio Barrientos, director of one of Guatemala City’s hospitals, spoke to reporters: “The hospital is reaching its limit.  We’ve definitely reached the peak of the situation.  We are overflowing with patients.  The medical staff is struggling with everything, and they are tired.  They're exhausted.”
