Rome, September 4 (RHC)-- The National Association of Friendship Italy-Cuba (Anaic) held a day of homage to the young Italian Fabio Di Celmo, 23 years after his death in a terrorist attack on a hotel in Havana.

Organized by the regional coordinator of the Anaic in Liguria, the commemoration included a joint videoconference with the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), promoter of the fourth International Day "We Remember: Solidarity versus Blockade" -- beginning today until October 10th.

The president of ICAP, Fernando González, from Havana, and the president of the Anaic, Irma Dioli, from Milan, participated in the colloquium, as well as Tiziana Di Celmo, Fabio's sister, and Margarita Morales, from the Committee of Victims of Terrorism against Cuba.

Franco Zunino, Coordinator of the Circles of the Anaic in Liguria, and Jorge Alfonzo, Minister Counselor of the Cuban Embassy in Italy, also took part in the activities.
