Number of Americans open to another COVID-19 lockdown falls off

Washington, November 19 (RHC)-- The number of American citizens open to another COVID-19 lockdown has declined in comparison to the spring, according to a new poll.

More than 3 million people in U.S. are estimated to be contagious with the coronavirus, which keeps breaking records in the number of hospitalizations and deaths.

“It’s bad; it’s really, really bad,” Columbia University epidemiologist Jeffrey Shaman told The Washington Post.  “We’re running into Thanksgiving now and that’s only going to make it worse.  We’re going to go through a lot of people being infected between now and the end of the year, unfortunately.”
