According to the organizers of the new caravan, migrants will observe the sanitary measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic

San Pedro Sula, March 30 (RHC)-- A new caravan of migrants began to form late Monday night in the Honduran city of San Pedro Sula in the north of the Central American country.  According to local media, hundreds have gathered at the main bus terminal of the city, to organize and begin the new mobilization.  The participants in the march said that they will concentrate in small groups and eventually gather at the border with Guatemala.

The migrants are mostly young people, including minors, and have said that they are looking for opportunities to work in the United States, pointing to the lack of opportunities in Honduras.

According to the organizers of the new caravan, migrants will observe the sanitary measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which since March of last year has killed more than 4,500 in Honduras.
