"Yesterday evening we were received by brother President @LuchoXBolivia.  We talked about our relations and the global leadership that #Bolivia has regained in the fight to stop climate change. I conveyed the embrace and fraternal greetings of President @NicolasMaduro," the Venezuelan foreign minister said in a message on his Twitter account.

As part of his visit, the Venezuelan foreign minister also met with former President Evo Morales to discuss the rights of Mother Earth and the current political situation in Bolivia.  "We gave him the sincere embrace of the Venezuelan people and of his brother Nicolás Maduro.  The defense of the Pachamama, the union of our peoples and popular democracy, always at the center of the issues we addressed."

Arreaza also met with Vice President David Choquehuanca and his counterpart, Rogelio Mayta, within the framework of the visit, with whom he discussed the bilateral cooperation agenda.
