Geneva, May 24 (RHC)-- The 74th session of the World Health Assembly is being held from May 24th until June 1st under the theme "Ending this pandemic, Preventing the next: Building together a healthier, safer and fairer world."
The World Health Assembly is the decision-making body of WHO and determines the policies of the Organization, appoints the Director-General, supervises financial policies, and reviews and approves the proposed programme budget. It is attended by delegations from all WHO Member States.
The Health Assembly is held annually in Geneva, Switzerland.
