Mexico City, September 26 (RHC)--The delegation of the Venezuelan Government for the dialogue with the opposition offered statements before the next meeting to be held and reaffirmed that talks and progress with the Self-Denominated Unitary Platform continue despite interferences.

The president of the Venezuelan National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, stated that they are in permanent contact with all sectors of the opposition in his country, as well as with the international accompaniers of the dialogue.

The Venezuelan authority declared that spaces for discussion and action have also been established in Venezuelan territory with the Self-Denominated Unitary Platform and the members of the facilitating team.  Evidence of this, he said, are "the more than 70 thousand candidates registered for the elections of mayors and governors" to be held in Venezuela on November 21st.
