Santiago de Chile, June 27 (RHC-PL) -- Chilean Finance Minister Rodrigo Valdes traveled yesterday to Mexico to participate Saturday at the Summit of ministers of the Pacific Alliance.

Valdes is expected to participate along with his counterparts to discuss ongoing joint initiatives and tackle key issues for the bloc, as infrastructure, financial integration, public finance and tax openness.

In this regard, Treasury ministries are expected to make progress in the draft and implementation of projects to strengthen economic and financial integration among developing countries, before the 10th Presidential Summit of the Pacific Alliance, to be held on July 3rd in Peru.

The Pacific Alliance is an economic and trade bloc created on April 2011, of neo-liberal nature, comprised of Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
