Scientists From All Over the World Meet in Brazil to Discuss Their role in the 21st Century

Rio de Janeiro, November 25 (RHC), – Hundreds of scientists from all over the world under the umbrella organization World Science Forum (WSF), are gathering this week in Rio do Janeiro to discuss their role in the 21st century and to emphasize the importance of scientific advice in political and economical decisions.

Brazil has hosted several events to discuss poverty eradication and sustainable development from the perspective of different social groups, such as Rio+20, the People's Summit and the World Social Forum.

The sixth edition of the WSF will take place from November 25th to the 27th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is the first time the forum will not take place in Hungary. The event will be broadcast via the internet in English, the official language of the event, and will be covered in social networks via hash tags.
