Argentinian Government Declares Agricultural Emergency in More than 60 Flood-hit Districts

Buenos Aires, August 31 (RHC)-- Economy Minister Axel Kicillof announced Monday economic and financial benefits for flood-affected areas in the province of Buenos Aires.  The aid totals 600 million pesos, according to the Buenos Aires Herald.

During a press conference this morning, Kicillof, who was accompanied by Cabinet Chief Aníbal Fernández and Buenos Aires province Governor Daniel Scioli, also announced tax extensions for affected farmers.

The government will also launch public works to repair rural roads in flood-hit areas.
