Cuba Trains Public Officials

Havana, January 14 (RHC)-- About 7,450 Cuban public officials havee majored in courses in public administration and entrepreneurial management in the new training season, inaugurated Monday in Havana.

During the 10-week course, a group of 76 public officials will train in different specialties to improve their professional development and is directly in tune with a call by Cuban President Raul Castro.

For trainees the courses will help improve general culture and integral development as pat of their commitment to the Cuban people, according to the Cuban news agency.

The curriculum includes lectures, visits to different regions and institutions considered as having exemplary management practices.
