Havana, April 3 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel said on Wednesday that the Venezuelan people defend peace and sovereignty following attacks on the country's power system.  The Cuban head of state tweeted: "The Venezuelan people defend dignity, sovereignty and peace in the face of the electrical coup d'état underway.  Bolivarian revolutionaries and patriots defend peace in every corner, parish, municipality, avenue, community and neighborhood."

The Cuban leader also joined the international demand calling for an end to intervention in the South American country under the slogan “Hands Off Venezuela", which is suffering attacks on its electricity service, affecting millions of people.  He tweeted: "Stop the threats, sanctions, interference and sabotage against the Bolivarian Revolution."
