Preparations continue for Cuba's next school year

Havana, July 29 (RHC)-- Cuban Minister of Education Ena Elsa Velázquez Cobiella, said that executives, teachers and staffers of educational centers are getting ready for the next school year, and that material supplies are being made available for the term.

Velazquez said that all graduates from 9th grade have options to continue their studies, 42 percent at the pre university level and 58 % in technical and professional education in different specialties.

According to Radio Reloj website, during the next school year some 6,000 graduates  from pedagogical universities will join the ranks of teachers in the upcoming school year.
