Havana, October 13 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel ratified this Tuesday the challenge for our country to develop the economy in a hostile scenario marked by the intensification of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

On his account in the social network Twitter, the Cuban president argued this assertion with a material published in the newspaper Granma, regarding the appearance of the Deputy Prime Minister Alejandro Gil Fernandez on the TV program "La Mesa Redonda" on Monday.

In another tweet, Díaz-Canel pointed out that it is the deep transformation and dedication to work the Cuban strategy to boost the economy in the stage of the "new normal" through which most of our provinces are already going through, in the battle against the Sars-Cov-2 coronavirus.
