Cuba reports 63 new cases of COVID-19

Havana, October 21 (RHC)—The Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported 63 new cases of Covid-19 over the last 24 hours.

 

In a press release published on the Ministry’s website it was reported that as of 12 midnight October 20, 3,300 patients were admitted to health institutions for clinical epidemiological surveillance, of which 425 were confirmed cases.

 

With the new 63 confirmed cases, Cuba has a cumulative total of 6,368 since March.

The current hotspot on the island is Pinar del Rio province which reported 41 of the 63 cases. The westernmost territory has replaced Sancti Spiritus and Ciego de Avila provinces in central Cuba, which were reporting the most cases in recent weeks.
