Cuba reports 1,029 new COVID-19 infections and two deaths

Havana, April 3 (RHC) -- Cuba reported two deaths and 1,029 new infections of Covid-19 over the last 24 hours.

Cuba currently accumulates 78,382 COVID-19 infections and 431 deaths since March 2020.

In his daily briefing to the nation on Saturday morning, Dr. Francisco Duran, the island´s Chief Epidemiologist informed that among the new cases there were 159 minors, 147 in pediatric age, with 6 infants.

Havana reported 570 cases, Matanzas province ranked second with 100 followed by Santiago de Cuba with 80

This has been a record-breaking week, with some  6 thousand cases.
