Havana, Jul 11 (RHC) Images of people in the Cuban capital in the streets, with national flags and slogans in favor of the Revolution, were on social media Sunday afternoon.

The Caribbean nation's Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez, shared a video showing citizens in the Centro Habana area who were marching in support of the government and in rejection of the destabilizing incidents that took place this Sunday in several localities.

The people are mobilizing in the face of imperialism's campaign against Cuba', said Rodriguez, adding that international solidarity and Cubans living abroad are organizing support for the Caribbean island.

Cuba's Minister of Culture, Alpidio Alonso, warned about campaigns articulated to divide and create chaos in the country and confuse people inside and outside the island.

On Twitter, the head called on artists to be attentive and not to be confused by the supposedly humanitarian messages promoted on social networks.

This Sunday, there were reports of incidents in cities of the country, promoted from digital platforms, prompted by the nation's economic crisis because of the pandemic and the U.S. blockade.
