Cuba reports 7,903 Covid-19 infections, 75 deaths

Havana, July 27 (RHC)-- The national director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Durán, reported on Tuesday 75 deaths and 7,903 positive samples for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours.

With the update, the island accumulates 349 055 diagnoses and 2 492 deaths (0,7% lethality)since the beginning of the disease in the nation.

During his usual press conference, the specialist informed that at the end of yesterday, there were 42,354 active cases.

The province of Havana registered the highest number of infections, with 1,552, followed by Matanzas with 993, Ciego de Avila with 901, and Holguin with 716  over the last 24 hours.
