Cuban President Raul Castro Meets Argentinean Defense Minister

Havana, July 4 (RHC) -– Cuban President Raul Castro received visiting Argentinean Defense Minister, Agustin Ross, and his delegation on Thursday afternoon.

The meeting focused on the historic relations between the two countries and ratified the will on both sides to further strengthen such bonds.

The Argentinean delegation, which came to Cuba at the invitation of the island’s Revolutionary Armed Forces, was also made up of Argentinean ambassador to Havana, Juliana Isabel Marino, and high-ranking military officers.

On the Cuban side was Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez; Defense Minister General Leopoldo Cintra Frias, and other high-ranking officers at the Cuban Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces.
