Havana, Jun 22 (RHC)-- The first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Miguel Díaz-Canel, led the conclusions of the comprehensive visits carried out by that organization to the eastern provinces of Guantánamo and Santiago de Cuba.

From his Twitter account, he announced his stay in Santiago de Cuba and Guantanamo to participate in the conclusions of the visit of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Party. We will meet with the militants, and we will also visit neighborhoods and productive poles.

The secretary of Organization and Cadres Policy of that body of the Communist Party, Roberto Morales, explained that they met with more than 10,600 people, in 246 centers of the easternmost territory of the island and 49 communities, reported via Twitter the Presidency.

The comprehensive visit of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the PCC and its Auxiliary Structure to the eastern provinces of Santiago de Cuba and Guantanamo took place from June 13 to 16. It verified the state of compliance with the concepts, ideas, and guidelines approved in April 2021, during the 8th Congress of the political organization.
