Coordinating Committee of Cubans living in France

Paris, Sept 24 (RHC) The 11th National Meeting of Cubans Residing in France will be held today in this capital, where a final declaration is expected to ratify support for the island's struggle to preserve its independence and sovereignty.

The meeting convened by the National Coordinator of Cuban Residents in France is the first of its kind since 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, so it is an opportunity for a physical reunion and action planning.

The program includes the presentation of the activities carried out by the member associations in recent years and the projects to be developed in 2023.

Regarding the final declaration, the Coordinating Committee told Prensa Latina that it is expected to condemn the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba and the actions aimed at discrediting the Antillean nation's international cooperation in dozens of countries, particularly in the health sector.

It is also expected to take up the call to instill in the new generations the love for the homeland and the commitment to its self-determination.

In November, the forum will also address the celebration of a new edition of the Meeting of Cuban Residents in Europe (ECRE), to be held in Berlin.
