Cuban President mourns death of girl in accident

Havana, Oct 18 (Web Network) The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel regretted on Monday the death of young girl Ismary Orozco, in a building collapse in Old Havana.

 

From his Twitter account, the dignitary sent condolences to her parents and family.

 

 

At 7:10 a.m. on Monday, a roof slab collapsed in a room of the three-story building, located at Sol No.466 between Egido and Villegas, which affected the house below.

 

Together with local and provincial authorities, firefighters, ambulances, and forces of the Ministry of the Interior were immediately on the scene. (Source: @DiazCanelB and Cubadebate)
