Cuban Head of State met with the leader of the French Communist Party

Havana, Dec 19 (RHC) On Monday, the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and president of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel received Fabien Roussel, national secretary of the French Communist Party (PCF), at the Palace of the Revolution.

 

Information published on Twitter by the Presidency indicates that the dignitary thanked the systematic actions of the French organization in the fight against the economic, commercial, and financial blockade of the United States.

 

The French Communist Party delegation that is visiting the island began its work agenda in Cuba to expand relations with the PCC.

 

Jérémi Bacchi, senator for the department of Bouches-du-Rhône; Pierre Lacazze, regional councilor for Occitania, the officials Charlotte Balavoine and Lina Sankari are also part of the European delegation.

 

The representatives of the FCP arrived in Havana last Saturday and were received by the vice chief and coordinator of the Department of International Relations of the Central Committee of the PCC, Angel Arzuaga Reyes, who met with Roussel.

 

During the meeting, both leaders agreed on the will to strengthen relations and solidarity between the two political forces, as well as denounce the intensified U.S. siege against the Cuban people.
