Havana, October 25 (RHC) The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, expressed his interest in setting up joint ventures with Cuba in the field of biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals.
While receiving the credentials of Cuban ambassador Carlos Valdes at the presidential palace in the city of Astana, Nazarbayev said that the entire world admires the Caribbean island's advancement in the fields of medicine and biotechnology.
Our countries maintain bilateral cooperation in the sectors of tourism and sports, said the head of state.
Meanwhile, the Cuban ambassador thanked the Kazakh leader for his words and highlighted the important role played by that that nation in the international arena. He reiterated his confidence in the development of bilateral relations between Havana and Astana in the areas of trade, culture and sports.
