Havana, July 4 (RHC)-- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, emphasized this Friday the importance of political-ideological work in all spheres of society, during the 10th plenary session of the political organization.

The president emphasized that political-ideological work "must be present everywhere," while "bodies and cadres need to be well prepared."  He advised that institutions should also participate in public debates, particularly on social media, to present arguments and explain.

Díaz-Canel addressed the inefficiencies in the state's collection and marketing of agricultural products.

During the session, the 10th plenary session of the PCC Central Committee reviewed a broad range of issues related to the functioning of the Young Communist League, the fight against corruption, crime, and illegal activities, as well as the government's plans to correct distortions and boost the economy.
