International Congress of Genetics Underway in Havana

Havana, December 2 (RHC)--- The Second International Congress of Genetics began Tuesday in Havana, with the participation of 300 Cuban and foreign delegates, who will discuss new advances and research in that specialty.

Sources from the organizing committee pointed out that among the main topics of discussion are the study of inborn errors of metabolism, monitoring genetic diseases and the technological revolution in the field of primary health care.

Organized by the Cuban Society of Human Genetics, the international forum also includes seminars and lectures given by high-level Cuban and foreign scientists and personalities.
