Tehran, November 19 (RHC)-- The Head of the Iranian Parliament’s Commission for National Security and Foreign Policy, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, said in Teheran that Cuba consistently provides at all international forums valuable support for his country's policies.

Boroujerdí received the Cuban Ambassador to the Persian nation, Vladimir González. Both officials praised the excellent bilateral mutual relations between Tehran and Havana, especially in the political and diplomatic spheres. They agreed that there are excellent conditions to increase cooperation and exchange between the two nations.

The Iranian leader recalled that Cuban Parliament President Esteban Lazo, has been invited to visit Iran and at the same time, the President of the Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani has a standing invitation to visit Cuba, which was delivered in Tehran by the Vice President of the Cuban Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas, last August.

According to the officials, such exchange of visits will have a fruitful repercussion on the improvement of Iranian-Cuban bilateral friendly ties.
