Cuban Parliament President Meets with Visiting Salvadoran Lawmaker

Havana, December 10(RHC)-- Cuban Parliament President Esteban Lazo met Thursday in Havana with the President of the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador Lorena Peña, who is paying a working visit to Cuba.

At the meeting, Peña, who also chairs the El Salvador-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group, was accompanied by Irma Amaya, deputy of the Central American Parliament, and by Ambassador of El Salvador to Havana, Sandra Gonzalez.

Also present at the fraternal meeting were Ana Maria Mari Machado, vice-chairwoman of the Cuban Parliament, Yolanda Ferrer, president of the International Relations Committee and deputy Luis Morlote, who presides over the Cuba-El Salvador Parliamentary Friendship Group.
