Havana, December 4 (RHC)-- Experts from Cuba and other countries are attending the Seventh Cuban Congress of Meteorology, addressing weather prediction, climate change, agricultural and maritime weather prediction, pollution and the physics of the atmosphere.
Meeting at the Havana Libre Hotel, the participants include several U.S. experts. Lixon Avila, from the U.S. Hurricane Center at the Miami Weather Office, will review the 2013 hurricane season, which registered the least number of big storms in the Atlantic Basin since 1982.
