Havana, February 15 (RHC)--More than 100 paintings by Russian artists, a part of the art exhibition 'Oh Havana', will be exhibited in the Cuban capital, in the framework of Cuba's International Tourism Fair FITCUBA, set for May 3rd through the 8th at the world-famous Varadero beach resort.

FITCUBA is the main tourism-related event in Cuba. This coming edition will have Russia as a guest country of honor. Juan Carlos Escalona, tourism adviser at the Cuban Embassy in Russia, told reporters that the exhibition 'Oh Havana' will be part of the collateral program of the Fair. He noted that the exhibition was scheduled to travel to Havana for the edition of the Tourism Fair in 2020, but the event was canceled due to Covid-19.

The traveling exhibition is also included in the program of activities on the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Cuba. With more than 230 paintings that portray Cuban culture, costumes, traditions, and the idiosyncrasy of the island’s people, 'Oh Havana' has been on display since January 22 at the State Museum of Contemporary History, in Moscow.
