Panam Sports confirms organization of Junior Pan American Games

Bogota, September 22 (RHC/PL)-- Panam Sports confirmed the progress in the coordination of the first Pan American Junior Games to be held in Colombia, revealed today the Organizing Committee of Cali-Valle 2021.

Neven IIic, president of the American sports body, highlighted the efforts of the preparatory group to offer a responsible and carefully planned event for the benefit of the development of young people, according to the event's website.

The head of Panam Sports headed yesterday the meeting of the coordination commission with the purpose of appreciating details in the different areas of the continental competition, scheduled from November 25 to December 5.

The meeting of regional directors was attended by Ciro Solano, president of the Colombian Olympic Committee, who thanked the Pan American organization for the support and confidence to continue with the Games.

Likewise, Baltazar Medina, head of the Organizing Committee assured the commitment of Cali-Valle 2021 to carry out a quality and excellence event in favor of the future champions of America.

The Colombian event will summon more than three thousand athletes representing 42 countries who will compete for prizes in the venues of Cali, Buga, Yumbo, Jamundí, Calima, Palmira and Barranquilla.
