Cali, November 4 (RHC)-- Seven cities will host the I Pan American Junior Games Cali 2021. Of these, six are located in the Pacific region and one in the Caribbean region.

The 3,500 athletes from 41 nations who will compete for glory and a place at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago will arrive in Valle del Cauca to compete in Cali, Palmira, Buga, Yumbo, Jamundí and Calima El Darién, while the remaining athletes will compete in Barranquilla.

Following to the letter the objectives of the Games, the investment in venues was focused on recovering and renovating the current infrastructure, which in fact meets the requirements of the international federations to a very high percentage.

Only one venue was built, the Yuri Alvear judo coliseum in Jamundí, in response to the needs of the judoists of this municipality.

Beach volleyball and 3x3 basketball courts will be temporarily built on the Pan American courts in Cali.
