Havana, December 22 (RHC)-- Everything is ready to start the round robin of the Dominican Baseball League (Lidom), which will be disputed by the teams Gigantes del Cibao, Estrellas Orientales, Tigres del Licey and Aguilas Cibaeñas.

The Lidom has already announced that the round-robin will start next Monday with the games Águilas-Gigantes, in the city of San Francisco de Macorís; and Tigres-Estrellas in San Pedro de Macorís, with a break on December 31 and January 1, and will conclude on January 17.

It was also informed that today, Wednesday, the re-entry draft will be carried out via digital means with native and imported players from the two teams that did not qualify for the round robin.

According to the regulations, each of the four semifinalist teams will be able to select a maximum of six players, among which there will be a minimum of three players from the country.

The selection will be made through staggered rounds starting with the team that came in first place in the regular series of the championship and ending with the team that came in last place in the qualified quartet.
