Portugal's Olympic Committee head to visit Cuba

Portugal's Olympic Committee president 

Havana, September 14 (JIT) - The president of the Portuguese Olympic Committee (COP), José Manuel Marques Constantino Da Silva, will arrive in Cuba on Wednesday for a three-day working visit.

According to the program, on Thursday he will visit the José Smith Comas National Canoeing School in Artemisa; the Manuel Fajardo University of Physical Culture and Sports Sciences; the Cuban Sports Research Center and the Inder Branch School.

On Friday, September 16, Marques Constantino will hold a meeting with authorities of the Cuban Olympic Committee (COC), with which his entity will sign a bilateral cooperation agreement.

On that day, a meeting with the Portuguese Ambassador in Havana, José Pedro Machado Vieira, a visit to the Fidel Castro Ruz Center and a working session with the COC and Inder are also scheduled.

On Saturday, September 17, the distinguished visitor's agenda includes visits to the Mario Lopez National Soccer School and the National Gymnastics School.

Marques Constantino will be accompanied by the COP sports director, Pedro Jorge Henriques Roque. On the Cuban side, he will be attended by COC and Inder authorities.
