Cuban Reinieris Salas was defeated today by Russian Abdulrashid Sadulaev winning the silver medal in the 86 kg of the Freestyle Wrestling World Championship, taking place in the city of Tashkent.

Salas, also silver in Budapest-2011, was surprised by the speed of the European, a 2012 and 2013 Cadet World champion, who beat him by technical superiority (10-0), and the 3rd places in this category were conquered by Turkish Selim Yasar and Iranian Mohammadian.

Athletics

The French athlete Teddy Tamgho, current world champion in triple jump, is training in Havana with his coach, Cuban Iván Pedroso, looking at the World Championship next year in China.

Cubans debut against Canadians, and then come up with Russia, Bulgaria and China.

Cuba advanced to the 2nd round with 6 points, 2 wins and 3 losses, plus 1 point for the preliminary results, considering only those related by the concerned teams now.

With the point by defeating 2-3 to the Finns, Cuba shares the Segment F with Brazil that went with 9 points, Russia (8), Germany (6), Canada (5), Bulgaria (5), Finland (2) and China (0).
