Tokyo, Jun 12 (PL) Puerto Rican Neftalí Soto led Lotte Marines to a 5-4 win over Hiroshima Carp in the Japan Baseball League, hitting 4-2, with a home run, a run scored, and two runs batted in.

For the defeated team, the Dominican Sandro Fabián, also played 4-2, with one run scored.

Meanwhile, Venezuelans Anderson Espinoza and Andres Machado, and Domimican Luis Perdomo, combined to give Orix Buffaloes the 4×2 success against Bay Stars.

Espinoza allowed only two runs and four singles in seven innings, with five strikeouts and one walk, and his teammates completed the job without major incidents, in the case of Machado to score his eleventh Game Saved.
