Santa Clara, October 1 (RHC)-- Several agricultural cooperatives in Santa Clara province, in Central Cuba, are enjoying the availability of solar energy thanks to photovoltaic panel farms and bio-digesters, all alleviating the shortage of electricity in remote areas.
Alternative energy sources are solving day to day problems in agricultural production, and are now powering irrigation pumps, mills. They provide energy for lighting homes, stables and other working areas.
