Washington, July 24 (RHC)-- In the U.S., FBI Director Christopher Wray told members of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Capital Hill that crime driven by racism and white supremacy was on the rise compared to the previous year and that his agency recorded around 100 arrests for domestic terrorism in the past nine months.

Christopher Wray testifed: “A majority of the domestic terrorism cases that we have investigated are motivated by some version of what you might call white supremacist violence.”

During his testimony, Wray also claimed that Russia is “intent” on interfering with U.S. elections and that China represents the greatest counterintelligence threat to the United States.  Wray declined to answer most questions about former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
