La Paz, November 27 (RHC)-- The Central Obrera Boliviana (COB) invited all affiliates and non-affiliates to participate this Monday in the great concentration that will begin in the Apacheta, in the city of El Alto, heading to the Plaza Mayor de San Francisco in the city of La Paz as the culmination of the March for the Homeland, in support of the government of President Luis Arce.

The call was made by the executive secretary of the COB, Juan Carlos Huarachi, who said that the March for the Homeland, which was since Friday in the municipality of Ayo Ayo, in the department of La Paz, has been carried out peacefully as workers belong to what he called the culture of peace.

Huarachi recalled that this mobilization is carried out in defense of the homeland and democracy after the events that took place in the cities of Potosí and Santa Cruz, where civic leaders, he said, promoted a strike and blockade that affected the rights of citizens and tried to destabilize the legally constituted government.

The union leader added that the march for the Homeland also seeks that the Prosecutor's Office, pushes to obtain justice for the victims of the massacres of Senkata, Sacaba and others that occurred after the coup that enthroned Jeanine Áñez, in 2019.

Similarly, he said that the march shows the unity of social organizations, sectors at the national level, affiliated and unaffiliated that walk together with the leader of MAS-IPSP, Evo Morales, to defend Luis Arce, David Choquehuanca and the vote of the people expressed at the polls in 2020.

Five days ago, the march of the social and indigenous movements, support bases of the government of Luis Arce, began and has been advancing towards the capital without security incidents and receiving the support of the populations through which they have passed.
