 Venezuelan Foreign Minister Carlos Faría

Caracas, May 19 (RHC)-- Venezuelan Foreign Minister Carlos Faría welcomed the position of the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who advocates for a Summit of the Americas without exclusions and for the U.S. government to initiate a hemispheric policy respectful of political diversity, idiosyncrasy and the independent character of the peoples.

In a message disseminated through the social network Twitter, Faría, pointed out that the Mexican president mediates for a diverse and inclusive America.

"His call for a Summit of the Americas without exclusions resonates in our America," expressed the head of the Venezuelan diplomacy in reference to López Obrador's repeated calls for such meeting to promote encounter and friendship among countries instead of dependence and interference.
