Caracas, November 4 (RHC) --The 34th Meeting of Ministers of Interior and Security and the 40th Meeting of Ministers of Justice of the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) and associated states begins today in the Venezuelan island of Margarita.
The representatives from 12 countries will meet until next November 8th and will evaluate topics related to migration, cyber crime, human trafficking, security at sporting events and cooperation between the block and the International Criminal Police Organization, Interpol.
The event, which will be chaired by the head of the Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace of Venezuela, Miguel Rodriguez Torres will also discuss transnational organized crime, treatment of prisoners and Mercosur's System for the Exchange of Security.
