Mexico City, May 14 (RHC-PL), --  Teachers from the states of Chiapas and Oaxaca will start an indefinite strike from next Sunday, together with a demonstration in the capital, Mexico City.

This was announced by leaders from the National Education Workers Coordinating Office (CNTE in Spanish).

Ruben Núñez, a leader from the 22nd Section of the Coordinating Office in Oaxaca, reported that 11,000 education centers will participate in the strike, and said that the actions will be carried out because the Mexican government has not responded to the request delivered by CNTE on May Day last year.
