Hanoi, February 3 (RHC)-- The first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Raul Castro, sent his 'most sincere congratulations' to the Communist Party of Vietnam (PCV) on the occasion of its 90th anniversary this Monday.

In a message to Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the VCP, Raul ratified 'the commitment of the Commander in Chief of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz, of loyalty and brotherhood with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, heir to the legacy of President Ho Chi Minh'.

The Cuban leader stressed that in 2020 the two governments will commemorate the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic relations and said that this constitutes 'an expression of our deep friendship and an example of the will to be united in view of the challenges imposed by the current international scenario', Prensa Latina reported.

"We wish you success in building socialism," says Raúl Castro's message.
