Havana, April 28 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez called on Tuesday to increase the perception of risk in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Writing on his official Twitter account, the island's top diplomat said: "Social isolation and citizen responsibility are essential," noting that measures adopted by the Cuban government show their effectiveness.

However, he pointed out, we are moving into the phase of greater complexity in the fight against the SARS-CoV-2 cornavirus.

Since the first cases were reported on March 11, 1,437 people have fallen ill in the country and 58 of them have died.
