Cuban deputy prime minister talks with doctors from Holguín

Holguin, August 18 (RHC)-- Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ines Maria Chapman Waugh participated Monday in an exchange with doctors, nurses and community representatives of the Alcides Pino health area in the capital of Holguin.

 With several popular councils in its radius of action and some 52 thousand inhabitants, the territory has experienced a significant affectation by local transmission of Covid-19, which occupies the health and government authorities. The participants expressed their considerations on the epidemiological situation in the area, the performance of the health system and difficulties to carry out the work effectively. 

Together with the governor of Holguín, Julio César Estupiñán Rodríguez, Chapman Wauhg also visited the Pedro del Toro polyclinic, in the Popular Council of Pueblo Nuevo, where he exchanged with doctors, patients and relatives.
