Havana, May 20 (RHC)-- Cuban Education Minister Ena Elsa Velázquez began a visit to London on Friday to participate in the Education World Forum, which will be held in that city from May 22 to 25.

The Cuban ambassador in the United Kingdom, Bárbara Montalvo Álvarez, informed on her Twitter account about the arrival of the Cuban official, and said that her work program will also include meetings with local personalities and friends of solidarity with Cuba.

The Education World Forum (EWF) will be attended by 112 ministers from 107 countries.

The meeting will include formal sessions and informal discussions and will address the planning and development of education to support individual and collective resilience, economic progress, and the contribution that education can or should make in this regard.

The meeting aims to help develop the specific contexts of each country, and to understand how we must build a stronger, bolder and better future.
