Cuba and EU advocate political dialogue and bilateral relations

Havana, Dec 2 (RHC) The III Cuba-European Union (EU) Joint Committee held this Friday in Havana, advocated political dialogue and bilateral relations.

 

Angel Villa, director general of Bilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, welcomed the European delegation and the heads of missions of the countries of the EU bloc on the island.

 

Meanwhile, the director for the Americas of the European External Action Service, Javier Niño thanked the hospitality and kindness of their hosts.

 

Niño emphasized the intention to develop a fruitful and respectful dialogue that will allow further progress in bilateral relations between the island and the Community bloc.

 

The European delegation arrived in the Antillean nation in the fifth year of provisional implementation of the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement (ADPC) between the two parties. (Source: PL)
