Havana, Feb 12 (RHC) The Cuban Ministry of the Interior reported the repatriation of a group of 37 irregular migrants from Mexico.

 

With this operation through Havana’s Jose Marti international airport, 232 people have been returned from Mexico in four similar actions.

 

The information explains that of the total number of returnees, 26 had traveled legally to countries in the region and later joined irregular routes to try to reach the United States border, while 11 left Cuba illegally.

 

Cuba has reiterated in various scenarios its commitment to safe and orderly migration and insisted on its dangers, which make people victims of kidnappings, accidents, extortion, and human trafficking. (Prensa Latina)
