Beirut, June 1 (RHC) -– Lebanese business people are traveling to Cuba as part of a trade mission to explore new opportunities in the context of Cuba's economic revitalization.

During their stay in Cuba from June 3rd to the 7th, the Lebanese entrepreneurs expect to hold meetings with Cuban officials, including executives from the Chamber of Commerce.

The delegation, comprised of members of the Lebanese-Cuban Business Council (LCBC), was bid farewell in Beirut by the Caribbean nation's ambassador, Rene Ceballo, who wished them a fruitful trip.

The mission also includes Bruno Zahr, adviser of Lebanese Economy Minister Alain Hakim. Zahr carries some invitation letters from Hakim to Cuban Council of Minister Vice President Ricardo Cabrisas, and Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca, to participate at an economic forum to be held in Lebanon on September 29th.
