Cuba and Japan Stress Bilateral Relations

Tokyo, June 8 (RHC)-- Cuban Ambassador to Japan Marcos Rodriguez and the President of the Japanese Lower Chamber of Parliament's Foreign Relations Shinako Tsuchiya met in the Japanese capital and referred to the high level of bilateral relations between the two countries.


During a meeting at the legislative body in Tokyo, the Cuban diplomat and the Japanese legislator agreed that there are favorable opportunities to further develop bilateral links and stressed the positive results of the recent visit to Havana by Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida, who traveled to Cuba accompanied by a business mission.
 

Deputy Shinako expressed her wish to visit Cuba and said many legislators are also looking forward to travelling to Havana. The meeting contributed to address the fruitful relations of friendship between Havana and Tokyo.
